Summer Enrichment Program Session I- Monday- Friday 7:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Broadway Workshop - July 13-24 ($100/$125) This class will include singing and dancing. Students will learn two songs and dance routines that go with them, and they will be performed on the last day of the class. Students will spend a great deal of time on vocal technique and dance technique, specifically techniques that apply directly to broadway performing. Because we will be dancing everyday, students should dress appropriately. Totally Wired: How to use the web to work faster, get organized, and make school more fun - July 6th – 31st ($200/$250) Students will be
choosing one topic of interest them to help focus their work in the
course (anything from fashion to fishing), and will be keeping daily
(but very brief) journals about their classwork. Each day students will
learn a new skill (or build upon a newly learned skill) and have a
chance to apply that skill directly. This enrichment course will teach
students how to use free online web tools to: Session II- Monday- Friday 10:00 am-12:00 pm Parlez Français! An introductory French course – July 13th – 24th ($100/$125) Description: Vous voulez aller en France? This is your chance to brush up on basic French language skills! This introductory French course is designed to help you develop and improve proficiency in speaking, understanding, reading and writing French. By participating in communicative classroom activities, doing listening exercises, learning and reviewing basic grammar structures, reading short stories and playing games in French, you will have an opportunity to develop basic understanding of French language in preparation for French 1. This course will include an introduction to elements of contemporary Francophone culture. Course content will also serve to help reinforce structures previously studied by students in preparation for French 2 . TUITION – Due by Monday June 29th
