SAT Prep Program Available at Amherst College
Under the Scholar's Choice Program, classes will be held in Room 101, Webster Hall,  on the campus of Amherst College. The program runs for three weeks in July, with full-length exams each Saturday (including one at the beginning, one on July 11th, and one at the end, on August 1st). Classes are held Monday through Friday. Each class is two hours long, but they move along simultaneously, so students can come to whichever time is more convenient--the first is from 10:00 to 12:00, and the second from 1:00 to 3:00. The Saturday exams will be from 10:00 to 2:00 for everyone. To see this information charted out a little more clearly, take a look at the website, at www.thescholarschoice.com, click on "Locations" at the top, and you'll find this course easily after searching in Massachusetts (there's only one other Scholar's Choice instructor in Massachusetts, and I'm the one on top). For more information, you can  contact Mr. Liam Hynes at Liam_Hynes@brown.edu.

The base price is $550 per student, although The Scholar's Choice can provide financial aid for students that would have trouble paying. There is also a 10% discount offered to any student who refers another to the program.

Miguel Santiago MIAA Student-Athlete of the Month
Miguel was selected from the nominations that were submitted throughout the month of May.  As a result of his selection, he will receive a certificate of recognition, will be recognized on the MIAA website, and will be featured in an upcoming edition of the “Building the Future” Student Services Newsletter.

We would like to congratulate Miguel and all of the award finalists for the outstanding job they are doing as leaders and role models in both their school and community.

Kelsey Davey and Kelly Tierney Named to the US Lacrosse Academic All-American Girls Lacrosse Team
Kelsey Davey and Kelly Tierney were named to the US Lacrosse Academic All-American Girls Lacrosse Team.  This is a great honor and to have two named from this region is quite an outstanding accomplishment for both girls. Congratulations!

Stadium Renovation Initiative
Beginning in 1993, a small group of South Hadley High School administrators, coaches, parents and community members met to discuss the possibility of a grassroots effort to improve the athletic field and surrounding facilities for the benefit of the high school athletes, the Recreation Department's youth programs, and the community-at-large. A number of major events have occurred since then. Just recently, a web site was created to support this major initiative.
You can check it out here!

While this site is not sponsored or affiliated with the South Hadley Public Schools. we certainly encourage you to check it out! You can get to the site by clicking "Alumni Information" in the navigation bar to the left or click here.
