On the South Hadley High School Web Site, we often use three
document formats for your viewing/downloading pleasure. They include:

(DOC) Microsoft Word format
- This is a widely-used format that is popular with approximately 90% of
computer users. Most often, Microsoft Word files have a .doc extension on
the filename (ex. Handbook.doc) Microsoft provides a free viewer program
for those that do not own the Microsoft Word program.

Microsoft Word can be purchased at most stores selling computer software. |

(PDF) Adobe Acrobat Reader
format - This is also a widely-used format that is very popular
on the web. Adobe files often have a .pdf extension on the filename (ex. handbook.pdf). Adobe provides this reader program free. You
can obtain the free Adobe Acrobat Reader program by clicking here. If
you want to create Adobe Acrobat Reader files yourself, you'll need to
purchase the full Adobe Acrobat program at your local computer software
store. |
